WSET and Vine Lab Wine & Spirits Academy present "Awesome Sauce: The Wines of Alsace" for Wine Education Week! Explore this northerly, little-known region of France through the lens of wine. Set apart from the rest of France in history, culture, politics, cuisine, and wine style, Alsace has been fought over for centuries by countries, kings, and ancient conquerors. We’ll see how history and wine have been intertwined for all of Alsace’s existence, and why this makes its wine culture so unique. Taught by Karina Roe of France 44 Wines & Spirits.
