Easter Sunday Celebration at PLaYT Restaurant in Hayward
On Easter Sunday, April 21, PLaYT Restaurant in Hayward will open from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM serving a la carte menu items in the spirit of the occasion. Brunch offerings will include PLaYT’s signature Benedict with two farm fresh poached eggs, fried boneless chicken, a toasted English muffin and creole mustard hollandaise; Herb Roasted Toybox Tomatoes with cedar cheese grits, scrambled eggs and fried onions; Chicken Fried Steak with two scrambled farm fresh eggs, pan fried potatoes, micro arugula and black peppercorn cream sauce; Swai Catfish and Grits, Cajun cornmeal dusted with stone ground grits, two scrambled eggs and blistered toybox tomatoes; and Spikes Bread Pudding French Toast with bourbon vanilla whipped cream and strawberry cinnamon maple syrup. From 3:00 to 4:30 PM, guest can enjoy Buttermilk Fried Chicken with smoked gouda mac and cheese and Spicy Seafood Gumbo Shrimp with crab, andouille sausage, okra and corn hominy.
