6th Annual Wine Walk in North Berkeley’s Gourmet Ghetto!

Sip, stroll and shop in the famed Gourmet Ghetto neighborhood! Gather friends or take a date night and join us for an evening of wine tasting (along with a few some craft beers) and small bites - all for a great cause - proceeds will benefit The Berkeley Public Schools Fund, which provides classsroom grants to teachers! Local and regional wineries are paired with eateries, galleries, and boutiques along Shattuck and Vine Street, who wil offer small sweet and savory bites - think nuts, chocolate, soups, cheese, jams, and oils! Many of our other shops and restaurants will be open with specials for the evening, too.
The event will feature wines from Berkeley's own Broc Cellars, Lynda Tranel Wines, Urbano Cellars, and Carica Wines, and more to come from Northern California's growing regions. Vintage Berkeley Wines, Saul's Restaurant, Nico's 1508, Tiger Lily, and AgroDolce Osteria Siciliana will be pouring favorites from their own selections.
Check in at our sales/will call tent on the corner of Shattuck & Vine starting at 4:30pm on the day of the event for your map of participating shops and instructions, and a commemorative Gourmet Ghetto tasting glass. Then explore the stops in any order you wish!
