Chef Steve Mannino will be teaching the basics of how to make ricotta and fresh mozzarella and then use them in several delicious recipes. Chef Steve will spend the first portion of class explaining the process of making fresh cheese and then have the class assist with making the cheese and preparing the recipes. Attendees will enjoy the cheese and following dishes created during class with fellow students:
Fresh Mozzarella to create Avocado Caprese Salad
Honey-Truffle Ricotta Bruschetta with Prosciutto
Fresh Mozzarella Risotto
Ricotta Cannoli Filling and Cannoli Shells
Mannino has held posts in some of the top restaurants across the country including spending eight years working with acclaimed chef Todd English and restauranteur Stephen Starr.
