Pacific NW & Beyond Wine Exploration: This will be a foundation wine class that will touch on wine production, grape varieties and vineyards as they relate to climate and topography. We will also enjoy the sensory evaluation of wines, which will lead to an understanding of aromas and characteristics in wines from Washington, Oregon and Classic Regions Globally. We will systematically taste through wines, and get visuals of the vine, the geology, the grape varieties and how those aromas and characteristics get there; our exploration of the classic regions that relate to each variety/wine will be defined in a fun and informative class.
