Well people...it's a new year and we have some new producers that we have been waiting a long time for. Last year we were selling a Barbaresco in the shop for around $40 a bottle. Everyone was flipping out over it. It was bottles under a private label and we loved it. We could not get that label again as we have parted ways with that person but...we found out who was producing the wine for him and made contact.
Then a few weeks ago someone came into the shop and asked if we carried this wine in the picture...hey..I know that producer. They said there was a pallet of wine heading to Woodinville, WA. Then it hit me...that's one of the producers we were working on getting shipped over. Brought some in last friday...all gone. Well...now we will have the official taste-off so you all can see what your palate has been missing. We'll even have our importer here to answer questions...you all know her, Marcia. She was with Boutique but has been working with me and the new importer to get these wines into us.
