Have you explored Croatian Wine?! This tasting is your chance to discover a variety of excellent Croatian Wines.
Wines to be featured:
Malvazija - fruity and fresh apertif white.
Malvazija Anno Domini - an Orange wine style. Macerated for 15 days and then aged in barrels for 24 months. It’s not as rugged as the Batic Zaria. Far more refined and easy drinking.
Caldierosso Red - a blend of equal parts Merlot, Tempranillo, Nebbiolo, and Teran. Still a bit light considering the grapes. High acid red wine with a full body finish. Think chocolate and espresso notes. awarded Decanter silver medal.
Teran Anno Domini - their flagship red wine. Aged for two years in oak. Teran is like refosco. This wine is high acid but smoothly structured. Sour cherries and black fruit dominate. Nose of cedar and earth. Won Decanter platinum award for best in show.
