Join us for a scrumptious feast at Arlinigton's La Cote d'Or Restaurant with Amandine Marchive of Dom des Malandes in Chablis. The cost is just $130 per person inclusive of tax and tip - outstanding value for a line-up like this!  Please reserve your seats through Chain Bridge Cellars to join us!

Over the past few years, the wines of Domaine des Malandes have become some of our - and your! - favorite Chablis. And these glorious, cool-climate, Chardonnays have never been better than in vintage 2017.  While always fun to taste and drink on its own, Chablis really comes into its own at table paired with food.  So we've enlisted Chef Jacques Imperato to prepare a six-course Chablis feast to celebrate the first visit to Washington, DC, of estate co-owner Amandine Marchive.

Chef Jacques has created a stunning six-course meal for us, with each dish designed to enhance and shine with five simply brilliant village, 1er Cru and Grand Cru Chablis.  The menu:

Warm oysters, apple, cucumber and ginger
Domaine des Malandes Chablis 2017

Trout roll mops, poached quail eggs with salmon roe
Crème fraiche, capers and chive
Domaine des Malandes Chablis 1er Cru Montmains VV 2017

Warm Frog legs terrine, garlic parsley butter, spinach timbale
Domaine des Malandes Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume VV 2017

Chicken lemon grass skewer
Warm Asian Cole slaw, bean sprout, carrot, cabbage, fennel, sesame oil, soy sauce
Domaine des Malandes Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Millieu 2017

Veal Blanquette, pearl onion, mushroom, rice pilaf
Domaine des Malandes Chablis Grand Cru Vaudesir 2016

Crêpes Suzette

Because the wines of Dom des Malandes are imported to Virginia just for us at Chain Bridge Cellars, they are always astonishing values.  And the opportunity to enjoy three different Premier Cru and a stunning Grand Cru white Burgundies with a custom-created menu for just $130 is an even better value still.

La Cote d’Or Restaurant is located at 6876 Lee Hwy, Arlington, VA 22213, just off Rt. 66 and within walking distance of the East Falls Church Metro station.  Parking is available next to the restaurant and along Westmorland Street.

To reserve your seats, please stop by the store, email us at, or call us at 703.356.6500.  All reservations must be made through Chain Bridge Cellars, although your payment will be collected at the restaurant. Only 30 spaces available for what is sure to be one of the highlights of your food and wine Fall!
