Local Event
Cost: $60
Join Patrick Ahearn FAIA, award-winning architect and author of Timeless, as he opens the doors to his world of traditional architecture combined with the ideals of modernism. He will share some of the firm’s most recent projects ranging from Edgartown to Wellesley, and walk us through how he adapts and applies philosophy’s greater good theory – the idea that architecture has the power to improve lives, to increase happiness and to encourage friendly and familiar interactions – to each of his projects.
This event will include a presentation by Patrick, followed by a reception featuring light hors-d'oeuvres and beverages including selections from Bad Martha, Martha's Vineyard's Craft Beer. To tie the evening together, each guest will receive a copy of Patrick's Book, “Timeless”.
*This is one of several events taking place during the Martha's Vineyard Food & Wine Festival, happening October 17-21, 2018.
