Global Youth Connect (GYC), a leading provider of intercultural education programs that promote and advance human rights around the globe, will host its third annual wine tasting benefit on Thursday, October 18th at Taste Wine Company in New York City.

The event will feature wine from regions across the globe, as well as light appetizers. GYC operates in places with troubled pasts, yet promising futures. From South Africa to Colombia, and beyond, guests will learn how GYC is promoting and advancing human rights through experiential, immersive learning experiences that empower young leaders from diverse backgrounds to collaborate and take action.

“This is an opportunity for people in New York City to learn about, and engage with, an organization promoting human rights around the corner, and around the world,” said Jason Torreano, Executive Director. “People often want to do something, but they’re not sure where to start.  Start by joining us on October 18.”

Join GYC for an evening of culinary and cultural discovery, with the opportunity to connect, network and engage amongst socially conscious people, who are passionate about leaving the world in a better place. Find out how you can become involved with GYC, as a partner, donor or board member.

Tickets are available for $60 at gycnyc18.brownpapertickets.com. All proceeds from the event will help fund and sustain programs that promote and protect human rights around the globe. To become an event sponsor please visit www.globalyouthconnect.org or email contact@globalyouthconnect.org.
