PARKING ~ FREE & PAID
Valet parking is available for $8.00. The drop-off point is two doors south of our entrance in front of Shakespeare Pub at the corner of India and Winder. Also, on-street parking is usually available within a 3-block radius. Remember that it’s OK to park in yellow commercial zones after 6:00 and that meters are also free after 6:00. You can also park in the lot behind Shakespeare Pub two doors down, but do not park in El Indio's lot unless you want your car towed! If you can’t find parking next to the restaurant, there’s always LOTS OF PARKING on San Diego Avenue and the adjacent side streets just past the Chevron station across Washington Street. WINE NOTES & BOTTLE PRICES
2015 Gérard Bertrand "Crémant de Limoux" Brut Rosé ~ $14
(France) Winemaker's Notes: 70% Chardonnay, 15% Chenin Blanc + 15% Pinot Noir. Chardonnay is the key ingredient in this blend, contributing to the Crémant's well-balanced texture and providing the delicate bubbles. Chenin Blanc contributes vivacity and, in time, will reveal exceptional richness. Pinot Noir supplies the exceptional color. Boasts a beautiful, salmon-pink robe with glimmering reflections. Delicate bubbles and an extraordinary vivacity on the palate, with a rich, indulgent texture. A complex bouquet with long-lasting aromas of strawberry and rasberry, backed with hints of toasted bread.
2016 Paul Hobbs "Crossbarn" Chardonnay ~ $23
(Sonoma Coast) Winemaker's Notes: Daffodil yellow with aromas of Bartlett pear, yellow peach, and citrus/yellow flowers. On the palate, there are flavors of juicy pink lady apple, fresh guava, and apricot. The texture is creamy, energetic, long and salivating.
2015 Cass Grenache ~ $20
(Paso Robles) Winemaker's Notes: Aromatic and fruit driven, the nose showcases elements of stewed strawberry, beet juice, tomato stem and gentle undertones of pink peppercorn. The palate is polished with refined acidity and soft tannin. Savory accents weave amongst flavors of ripe raspberry and black cherry leading to a layered finish framed with nuances of bramble berry, cotton candy and dried rose.
2015 Seghesio “Sonoma” Zinfandel ~ $19
(Sonoma) Winemaker Notes: Each vintage, we harvest multiple diverse lots of Zinfandel that span the entire Sonoma County Zinfandel landscape. Each of these lots is produced under the careful eye of our winemaker, Ted Seghesio. The best of these lots are selected to make Sonoma Zinfandel. A small amount of Petite Sirah is added to honor century old traditions and to provide color and structure. The result is a wine that offers tantalizing raspberry, blueberry, classic briary and spicy flavors with a balance of components for which Seghesio wines are known.
NV Hidalgo Pedro Ximenez Sherry ~ $21 (500ml)
(Spain) Dense and velvety, and caramel in color, this wine is an explosion of raisins, dry figs and honey. It can be used for reduction sauces and for baking yet it is an excellent accompaniment to blue cheese, poured over vanilla ice cream or served alone.
