Lyric by Etude, Chardonnay, Santa Barbara County, 2015 - $18.99

Etude’s winemaking philosophy remains steadfast in this wine. Crafted with very minimal winemaking intervention in order to reflect the unique terroir of North Canyon and Cat Canyon Vineyards. Barrel fermentation, sur lies aging in French oak barrels and partial malolactic fermentation allow for a layered and balanced expression of this vineyard-driven Chardonnay. Broad spectrum of citrus, tropical fruit and floral aromas. A backbone of fresh fruit flavors and acidity balance the generous fruit weight, creamy texture and spice notes of this structured Chardonnay.

Lyric by Etude, Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara County, 2015 - $23.99
Etude has handcrafted its celebrated Pinot Noir from the Carneros region for over 30 years and is now taking its study of the varietal to the famed Santa Barbara County appellation. Influenced by the minimal intervention philosophy of its parent winery, Lyric is an authentic expression of Santa Barbara that is true to its classic Pinot Noir characteristics. Rich in ripe cherry, red raspberry, and fresh strawberry, this youthful Pinot Noir drinks complex with hints of cinnamon, cardamom, sandalwood and cola. Offering an elegant structure, silky tannins and bright acidity, this Pinot Noir is captivating in its youth and makes a wonderful counterpart to a variety of dishes.

Simi, Merlot, Sonoma County, California, 2013 - $16.99
Deep garnet with a ruby edge, the 2013 Sonoma County Merlot has rich, dark notes of blackberry and plum with cocoa, nutmeg, and earthy hints of cedar and bay laurel. Smoky bacon notes frame bright fruit aromas into a compelling mixture of bright fruit with exotic spice and toast. Red and dark fruits play off each other with layer after luscious layer. Both youthful and concentrated. 85% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Malbec

Atalon, Pauline's Cuvee, Napa Valley, California, 2012 - $25.99

Made after the wines of the Right Bank, Merlot and Cabernet Franc lead the way to a soft supple wine with lots of character. Dark ruby in color. Aromatic notes of black cherry, blackberry, plum, currant, integrated sweet oak, cinnamon and clove spices, and shaved milk chocolate. Delicate and soft entry with great depth and balance, the definition of soft and velvety.

Broadside, Cabernet Sauvignon, Paso Robles, 2015 - $16.99
A serious, concentrated, yet still elegant Cabernet Sauvignon. Fresh boysenberry, peppercorn, and sweet tobacco notes highlight ample fruit in the nose, complemented by subtle notes of toasty oak vanillin and cigar box. Cassis, green olive, and fresh berry acidity greet the palate with an underlying current of fine tannin, coalescing in a dry, persistent finish. “Bright red plum fruit is underscored by strong herbal aromas in this widely available bottling. It's fruity on the palate, with a green pepper edge that grows minty as it approaches the finish. A great, refreshing style of Cabernet for barbecues.”  87 pts. Wine Enthusiast
