Do you like white, rosé or red wines? Luckily for you, the Navarra wine region of Spain can offer all three types of wines in a multiplicity of styles thanks to their diverse “terroir”. Learn more about what style of wine you like and why on April 9th as you taste an array of wines from Navarra to help you discover for yourself “your style of wine”. You’ll have the chance to taste wines from more than 10 producers from Navarra and learn about why Hemingway loved not only Pamplona and its annual festivities of "the running of the bulls” but also its wines. One of Spain’s most storied regions under vine is arguably also its most versatile and dynamic.
Tucked below France, into a series of rugged valleys emanating southward from the mountainous tip of north-central Spain, the vineyards of Navarra spill out across verdant foothills fed by Atlantic rains before descending rapidly downriver into Spain’s vast, arid Ebro basin—a total distance, north-to-south, of a mere 80 kilometers.
The seminar will be led by April Cullom, who represents Navarra wines in the US and who herself is a producer of Spanish wines. She will be co-hosted by John Camacho Vidal of Wine Stories NY. He is a renowned wine expert and former Showroom Senior Portfolio Manager, and Seminar Director and lecturer at Italian Wine Merchants.
