Wine enthusiasts, trade and media are invited to join The Association of African American Vintners (AAAV) for its annual Wine Symposium and Tasting Weekend featuring some of the country’s top African-American winemakers. On June 22, The Wine Symposium and Tasting will feature informative sessions by industry leaders to include essential tips and resources for becoming a winemaker, wine sales and distribution and rules and regulations as well as information to enhance the consumer’s knowledge of wine.
Adding to its highly anticipated walk-around tasting is lunch by chefs Susan Dunphy-Mall and Jeff Mall that will be paired with this year’s participating wineries to include: Corner 103 (California), Fog Crest Vineyard (California), Longevity Wines (California), Maison Noir Wines (Oregon), McBride Sisters Collection (California), Running Tigers (Georgia), Tympany Vineyards (California), Stover Oaks Winery (Ohio), Theopolis Vineyards (California) and Vision Cellars (California).
