Tasting Menu:
Cristom Vineyards began as a collaboration among three men: an engineer, a biochemist, and a farmer, who each possessed a deep-rooted respect for the land, the natural winemaking process, and pinot noir. Over 25 year later, second-generation winegrower and owner Tom Gerrie leads winemaker Steve Doerner and our tenured viticulture team in tending our Estate vineyards, and producing elegant, dynamic wines, recognizable by our hallmark style of whole-cluster fermentation by native yeasts. These characteristics have earned Cristom distinction among wine enthusiasts and industry leaders alike, including being named 'Best New World Red' by Decanter magazine.
The four estate Pinot Noir vineyards - Eileen, Jessie, Louise and Marjorie, named for Gerrie family matriarchs - each possess natural variances in soil, elevation and exposition. With minimal intervention during the winemaking process, Tom, Steve and team strive to craft wines that are an honest recording of both the vineyard and the vintage, producing the ultimate expressions of the stellar fruit we’re fortunate enough to work with. Recognized globally as a leading producer in our beloved Willamette Valley, our wines continue to be a unique blend of tradition, modernity and finesse.
Wine Experiences Defined:
Wine Dinners:
Our wine dinners include a full meal composed of multi-course culinary creations inspired by winery or family recipes, complementary wine pairings, insight into the preparation of the dish and selection of the wine, and educational commentary from the winemaker and winery representatives.
Paired Experience:
Our paired experiences include a tasting of multiple flights of wines with a common theme, paired with complementary Chef’s small plates for an introductory taste of our cuisine and insight into the winery from the perspective of the winemaker and winery representatives.
Bar Tastings:
Our bar tastings feature a careful selection of wines along with complimentary house nibbles such as cheese, charcuterie or truffled popcorn.
