Even though people are using the same grapes all over the planet, wine inevitably tastes very different from place to place. This is one of the things that makes wine both awesomely frustrating and completely excellent.
We’ll taste wines from all around the world and try to put our finger on a general flavor profile for each place. This is a great survey class that will give you a wide exposure to different grapes and styles around the wine world. It is a good beginner course as well, since it is also an overview of wine in general.
I’m confident we will hit every continent, so long as we agree not to count Greenland. Who knows? Your new favorite wine could be waiting in another hemisphere! 2-hour interactive tasting class followed by wine pairing dinner.
