This wine and gastronomy tour itinerary features the pinnacle in bespoke experiences through private winery tours, spirit tastings and gastronomy available only to our tour guests. This tour will be a collaboration of WineNot Boutique’s expertise and winery connections with Navigo’s 15 years of crafting tour experiences in France. As a result, this tour provides our guests the opportunity to experience the world's most famous wine region like no one else.
Sept 3 Bordeaux City - Arrive and private transfer to hotel. Visit the city on a leisurely walking tour including the magnificent Cite Du Vin before a classic French welcome dinner with wine. (D)
Sept 4 Visit Left Bank of Bordeaux - World-class wine. Visit and full tastings at 3 renowned winemakers/chateaux on the left bank of the Bordeaux wine region. (B, D) Bordeaux Wine Region
Sept 5 Dordogne Valley Highlights- Charming squares and streets in Bergerac, 17,000-year-old cave paintings and truffles and foie gras tastings. Group cooking class followed by lunch together! (B,L)
Sept 6 Visit Right Bank of Bordeaux- More world-class wine. Visit and tastings as 2 quaint chateaux followed by lunch together in St. Emilion. Evening free time in Cognac. (B, L)
Sept 7 Medieval Cognac - Tours and tastings: discovering the city of Cognac. Visit of Roman arena in the town of Saintes and the castle in La Roche Courbon. Dinner with the group in Cognac. (B,D)
Sept 8 Coastal Bordeaux - Day trip to Arcachon, famed for their oysters, and the Pilat dunes. Lunch on the coast before returning to Bordeaux city. (B, L)
Sept 9 Bordeaux like a local - Your local guide will lead a city walking tour of Bordeaux, focusing on history, architecture and gastronomy! A special Bordeaux River Cruise finishes off a great trip! (B, D)
