April 6, 2021

Day 1: Seville — Carriage Ride — Welcome Dinner

A Premier Tours & Travel representative will welcome you to Seville and provide private transfers to your hotel. Spend the next three nights immersed in traditionalD 18th-century Seville architecture in the modernized, boutique Las Casa del Rey de Baeza in the heart of the old town of Seville. After time to refresh, enjoy a one-hour carriage ride exploring the highlights of Seville to get you acquainted and then a light Welcome Dinner will ease you — and your palette — into this amazing itinerary.

Day 2: Seville — Market —Tapas — Chef’s Dinner

This morning, enjoy a guided walking tour of Seville — a land loved by the Phoenicians, Tartessians, Romans, Arabs, and Christians, alike, which will be evident in the diverse architecture throughout the tour. See the Barrio Santa Cruz (the former Jewish Quarters), Seville Cathedral (where Christopher Columbus is buried), and the Giralda Bell Tower for spectacular views over the city along the way. Visit one of the most beautiful and active local food markets, the Mercado de Triana, in the charming Triana district, to learn about — and more importantly — to taste various local and seasonal products. Enjoy selecting ingredients with our private chef in anticipation of the evening’s Chefs Dinner back at the hotel.

Day 3: Day Trip to Jabugo, Spain — Jamón Ibérico Tasting — Parrilla Experience with Chef

Today, a bespoke culinary experience awaits you in Jabugo, the Jamón Iberico capital of Spain. Discover Cinco Jotas Jamón Iberico Farm, located inside the Natural Park of the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche region of Huelva, Andalusia. The 3,000 inhabitants of Jabugo have a distinct connection with Iberian ham and you will learn directly from several at Cinco Jotas, including the profound history behind their 100-year old curing cellars, the unique ecosystem of the Ibérian hog, and the artisan process that goes into creating their indulgent, 100% acorn-fed Jamón Ibérico. Enjoy a private visit to the Cinco Jotas Winery and a VIP Jamón carving and tasting masterclass followed by an outdoor parrilla luncheon created by your private chef in collaboration with Cinco Jotas. The exquisite food coupled with the beautiful views of the countryside make for an unforgettable experience. Your evening upon returning to the hotel will be at leisure.

Highlights of Jerez, Ronda, Mijas, Marbella, & Granada (5 Nights)

Day 4: Seville — Jerez de la Frontera – La Bobadilla

Today depart from Seville to head into Sierra de Loja and your 5-star accommodations, La Bobadilla, located between the Costa del Sol and Granada. En route, visit the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art to learn all about the classical traditions of Spanish Baroque horsemanship and see how the horses and riders prepare for competitions. Then head to the Virrey Laserna Palace, which has been handed down from generation to generation since 13th century. On this exclusive experience, you will have the opportunity to explore the palace with the actual owner, Marquis of La Eliseda Francisco de Asis Moreno de Cózar y Landalh, and to discover the way of life of a family with deep-seated roots in Spanish history. The finishing touch will be to learn about the Jerez region's famous sherry and enjoy a tasting with tapas on the Palace patio with the DMarquis. As you relax for the remainder of your journey to the hotel, admire some of the whitewashed villages, such as Arcos de la Frontera and Zahara de la Sierra, along the way. After checking into La Bobadilla, inspired by intricate Mudejar architecture, take time to refresh and relax in your well-appointed room, wander the gardens, or enjoy a cocktail on the patio in advance of the Welcome Dinner at El Cortijo de La Bobadilla.

Day 5: Day at Leisure — Chef’s Dinner

Begin your day at leisure at La Bobadilla to ensure you make the most of this renown hotel’s amenities. Enjoy experiences such as spa treatments, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, and/or bicycling — or simply imbibing in extra culinary delights and cocktails*. Save room though for the evening’s Chef’s Dinner with our private chef on property at La Bobadilla.

Day 6: Ronda – Olive Oil Tasting — Chef’s DinnerAn organic olive farm, picking your own organic vegetables, and wandering the wonders of Ronda will be on your itinerary today. More than 200 years ago, a religious community of nuns in Ronda, one of the most emblematic and beautiful cities in Andalusia and Spain, began to make olive oil using the fruit of centuries-old olive trees. The oil produced in this olive grove, LA Amarilla, has always had a great reputation among the locals for being a product of a unique and exceptional quality. Walk in the footsteps of the nuns and the Gómez de Baeza family — owners of LA Organic — through the olive groves, learning about the science and art of creating this delicious olive oil. Leave as an olive oil expert after an educational tasting masterclass. While visiting their organic garden, you will have the opportunity to pick seasonal and local fruits and vegetables to enjoy for lunch on property, as well as for this evening’s Chef’s Dinner. Stroll around Ronda, famous worldwide for its dramatic cliffs and uninterrupted views, and for the deep El Tajo gorge dating to the 9th century that carries the Rio Guadalevín through its center. Make your way into the old town, a maze of winding streets, mosques, palaces, and charming white-washed Andalusian homes. Ronda’s Plaza de Toros is one of Spain’s oldest bull rings. Refresh for this evening’s Chef’s Dinner with our private chef.

Day 7: Mijas — Marbella – Whitewashed Village — Chef’s Dinner

This morning, enjoy a taste of traditional Malaga village life with tour of charming Mijas. Stroll through the narrow streets lined with typical whitewashed homes and hanging flowerpots. After, leave for Marbella to explore its colorful food market with our private chef to buy fresh fish and seafood for dinner back at La Bobadilla. Enjoy time at leisure in Marbella for a tapas lunch, walk through Marbella’s old town, go shopping, and/or stroll along the beachfront promenade. Enjoy prepping for and eating this evening’s Chef’s Dinner back at the hotel.

Day 8: Granada — La Alhambra — Farewell Dinner

On your last day in Andalusia, visit magical Granada and the famous La Alhambra — the 8th wonder of the World. The Alhambra is a palace and fortress of the Moorish monarchs of Granada, Spain. The name Alhambra, signifying in Arabic “the red,” is probably derived from the reddish color of the tapia (rammed earth) of which the outer walls were built. After touring this architectural masterpiece, enjoy lunch and time at leisure in Granada — the last stronghold of Spanish Moors who left their mark in the spectacular Islamic architecture — before heading back to La Bobadilla and this evening’s Farewell La Bobadilla Dinner at El Cortijo de La Bobadilla.

Highlights of Madrid (3 Nights)

Day 9: Madrid

Farewell to Andalusia today as you board the high-speed AVE train bound for the capital of Spain, Madrid (preferred class). Upon arrival, our DPremier Tours & Travel representatives will transfer to the iconic Pestana Hotel Plaza Mayor — located in the heart of the city, near the markets, shops, and museums. After checking in, enjoy time at leisure. This evening, discover Madrid with a panoramic tour to take in the vibrancy and excitement of Madrid at night and a tapas experience for dinner.

Day 10: Madrid

You will have a guided walking tour of Old Madrid to experience its narrow cobblestone streets, hear the history of this beautiful city, and visit 138-year-old Mercado de la Cebada — the most traditional market in Madrid. You will then head to La Lonja Restaurant to learn how to cook (and eat) an authentic, Valencian paella with a master paella chef. The balance of your day and evening will be at leisure.

Day 11: Madrid – Day at Leisure

Enjoy this entire day at leisure to do as you wish — visit museums, such as the neoclassic, world-class El Prado Museum (built by Ferdinand VII for his wife to rival the Louvre in Paris), the Thyssen-Bornemiasca Museum, or the Museum Reina Sofia in the museum triangle. Spend time shopping or hop from tapas bar to tapas bar … Madrid is yours to explore. Join us for a Farewell Dinner and Flamenco Show at the most traditional and emblematic Tablao in Madrid. With more than 60 years of history, Corral de la Moreria is the most prestigious flamenco tablao and the world’s only with a Michelin star.

Day 12: Depart Madrid

As you know, all good trips must come to an end. Transfer to the airport this morning based upon your departure time.
