Simon is the Fourth-Generation owner of Backsberg. He studied French in Montpellier, worked a vineyard in California, and worked and traveled in China. He then completed a four-year Business Science Economics Degree at the University of Cape Town. Simon joined his father Michael Back at the Backsberg farm in January 2008 and is now the acting CEO of Backsberg.

In the October 1st tasting we will sip and discuss three wines:

Backsberg Kosher Brut NV
2019 Backsberg Chenin Blanc
2017 Backsberg Kosher Pinotage
