We’ve been fans of Josh Klapper’s Pinot Noir “Opening Act” for years now – there’s just not a better quality California Pinot Noir out there at anything like the price. But we’ve been a little remiss in exploring the rest of the wines from this boutique Santa Barbara winery and top vineyards up and down California’s Central Coast. So we’ve decided to fix that, and you’re invited to join us as we talk and taste with John from the winery on Sunday, June 26, at 4pm.

Josh started his wine career as a sommelier in LA and featuring great Pinot, Chardonnay and more from Santa Barbara pioneers Jim Clendenen (Au Bon Climat) and Bob Lindquist (Qupe). And after working with them, found himself pulled to make wine himself! He works with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Bordeaux and Rhone varietals from some of the Central Coast’s most exciting vineyards. And, as Vinous explained last year, "the Timbre wines are done with a light touch. More importantly, the wines convey the essence of place, which is so critical with vineyard designates."
