Open to all, these monthly online wine tastings allow anyone with an interest in wine to taste and learn in a practical, fun and informal way with Paula from WineUncorked. You don’t need to have been on a wine tasting or wine course before or have any knowledge of wine.

Smooth tasting wines: How to choose wines that won't make your mouth pucker 

10th February 2022, 7pm GMT, £14 per household

Learn how to choose rosé and red wines that don't taste dry and sharp. We'll taste smooth wines together and discover what makes them taste enjoyable, and why sometimes they aren't. Learn about wine in an informal and fun way.

Wines aren't included in the cost. What wines to get:

• One bottle of rosé wine from California (USA)
• One bottle of red wine from the southern France area of Languedoc

The Rosé will sometimes be labelled Blush wine, or White Grenache, even though it is a pink-coloured wine.

The red wine bottle label will show 'Pays D'Oc'. It can be of any type of grape variety or name of wine.

The events are for adults, aged over 18, who have an interest in wine. We're based in the UK but if you live in another country and want to attend these online events that's fine – just remember our starting time is UK time.
