Italy is a treasure trove of wine and every region specializes in different grapes and styles. While the focus is often on Tuscany and the south, some of the best wines come from the north, where the terrain becomes more mountainous and the grapes benefit from cooler air. The end result are wines that are complex, yet easy to drink. With the help of a sommelier, let's beat the winter blues from the comfort of your home with some incredible whites and reds.

Join New York Adventure Club for a curated wine tasting experience of three delicious wines from Northern Italy. We'll evaluate and discuss the wines while learning about the vineyards that produce them, along with Italy's rich wine history.

Led by Sommelier Amy Karasavas, our unique taste and talk — designed to help you become the confident wine drinker you were destined to be — will include:

  • An overview on how to see, smell, and taste wine
  • guided tasting of three Northern Italian wines in half-bottle sizes (see 'Wine Kits' section below for more details) — perfect for serving two!
  • A breakdown of viticulture and viniculture techniques that influence wine
  • Tips and tricks for ordering, buying, and serving wine
  • Interactive polls, trivia questions, and discussion topics geared for wine lovers

Afterward, we'll have a Q&A with Amy — any and all questions about the featured wines are welcomed and encouraged!
