Virtual Tasting

Part 2 of our Geeky Grapes: Piedmont series will be led by Federico Russo, of Crotin, in Maretta, Monferrato. Crotin, which means "small cellar," is owned by the Russo brothers-- Federico, Corrado and Marcello-- who farm just 22 acres of vines organically, all planted to local varieties. Federico will take us on a journey to Piedmont as we taste two of their reds together, one made from Grignolino, one from Freisa. Both wines are available at Windham Wines: Crotin, "San Patelu," Grignolino d'Asti, 2018 ($17) and Crotin, "Aris," Freisa d'Asti, 2017 ($17).When you come in for the wines, please be sure to leave your email address with us so that we can send you the link to the tasting.
