While wine is produced in all 50 states, California is by far America's best wine-producing state — not only does it produce 81% of all U.S. wines, it's also the world's fourth leading wine producer. From the story behind how Napa Valley wine famously beat Burgundy and Bordeaux wine in a competition to how the next generation of winemakers are making their mark in The Golden State, it's time to taste our way through California's three most important grape varieties — the hits!

Join New York Adventure Club for a curated wine tasting experience of three delicious wines from California where we'll evaluate and discuss each wine, the vineyards that produce them, and the state's rich wine history.

Led by Sommelier Amy Karasavas, our unique taste and talk — designed to help you become the confident wine drinker you were destined to be — will include:

  • An overview on how to see, smell, and taste wine
  • guided tasting of three California wines (see 'Wine Kits' section below for more details)
  • A breakdown of viticulture and viniculture techniques that influence wine
  • Tips and tricks for ordering, buying, and serving wine
  • Interactive polls, trivia questions, and discussion topics geared for wine lovers

Afterward, we'll have a Q&A with Amy — any and all questions about the featured wines are welcomed and encouraged!

Can't make it live? Don't worry, you'll have access to the full replay for one week!
