The Australian Wine Society of Toronto is having its own celebration on Monday Jan 25th. Join His Excellency Dr. Grayson Perry, Australian Consul General, and the rest of AWS via ZOOM Virtual Meeting, to enjoy an Australian themed dining event, prepared by Chef Gregory of Vintage Conservatory.

The evening's fare will be complimented by a curated selection of Australian wines presented by our cellar master, Joe Gentile. The meal and wine will be delivered to your home, where you complete the minimal preparation and plating, get comfortable and join us on ZOOM. Virtual "dining" rooms will be available for those of you who want to have a more private and quieter virtual dinner with your regular tablemates.

Cost will be $90 (meal & 1 bottle of wine) or $60 (meal only) for AWS members, $105 (meal & 1 bottle of wine) or $70 (meal only) for non-member guests. All taxes and fees are included.

Your three course dinner will include:

First Course

  • Butternut Squash Bisque, herbed sour cream, candied pumpkin seeds

 Main Course (choice of one)

  • Braised Lamb Shank, slow braised in Sauvignon Blanc, potato puree, glazed heirloom carrots, roasted garlic mushrooms, lamb demi glace
  • Beef short ribs, slow braised in Cabernet Sauvignon, potato puree, glazed heirloom carrots, roasted garlic mushrooms
  • Vegetarian Meatballs made with black beans, cashew, caramelized onions and garlic, with red wine and tomato sauce. Served with potato puree, glazed heirloom carrots, roasted garlic mushrooms

Dessert Course

  • Sticky Toffee Pudding, moist date sponge cake, caramel amaretto sauce, salted slivered almonds

NOTE: Because the meal is being prepared and then delivered, we have limited capability to substitute course selections. We will attempt to accommodate dietary restrictions as indicated in the order.
