5 Zoom Sessions: April 1, 2, 8, 15 & 16

In Person Tasting Review & Exam April 24 & 25 at Takara Sake Brewery, Berkeley, CA

What You’ll Learn

• The main techniques used in sake production and how they influence style and quality
• The principal and specialty categories of sake
• The sake industry and commercial importance of sake in the Japanese and export markets
• The principles behind the storage, selection and service of sake
• How to taste sake and evaluate quality, identity and price, using WSET’s Level 3 Systematic Approach to Tasting Sake®

Classes will be held in 5 sessions on Zoom. There will be 1 in person theory review and tasting session prior to examination date.

Can I join from any location?

Yes, but you must sit for the exam at one of our exam locations San Francisco or Boston (contact Marina at winesakechick@outlook.com for Boston Exam dates)

Do I have to log on at a specific time?

Yes, You will need to log in to the link provided at the specified time.

Is Sake included in cost?

No, but we will provide you will a suggested tasting list and guide you through tasting in class.
