World Wine Cup: California vs. France

While California and France both make world class wines, their styles have marked differences that are easily detectable with a bit of practice. In a versus-style match up, we’ll taste each camp’s version of five different grapes, and dissect the differences between the sun-drenched, ripe California style, and the sturdier, earthier versions from France.

Things to note:

· One week cancellation policy

· We’re within two blocks of both the Main Street Metra and Main Street “L”

· Please eat prior—we’ll taste through 6-7 wines in the class

· Note this is a wine class, not a casual tasting: please keep chatter to a minimum
