Wines Of Spain: Taste The Classics And Beyond. - July 29

Spain has been cultivating vines and producing wine for more than 2,000 years. The country has a rich history and an abundance of native varietals, some of which are not found anywhere else in the world. There are the iconic regions and their principal grapes (think Rioja and Tempranillo), plus many lesser-known but still fascinating places and styles-have you ever had Txakolina made from Hondarribi Zuri? In this class, we will visit seven different appellations to learn about their most important grapes and wine styles, and see how the climate and history of the regions impacts the wines.

• Raventos i Blanc de Nit 2017 (Rosé Cava, Cataluña)

• Comando G La Bruja de Rozas Garnacha (Madrid)
• Binigrau Nounat (Mallorca)
