It's our winemaker's birthday... and he LOVES bacon! Mark has been working hard all winter long to bring us an abundance of crisp, delicious new wines for this spring and summer season! We decided to celebrate him in a special way for this wine pairing dinner - by incorporating his favorite food into ALL FOUR COURSES!
Join us at our main winery in Oakdale for an upscale, four-course wine pairing dinner, prepared with local ingredients by our friends at Kimberly Ashlee catering!
First: Fresh Rosemary & Bacon Goat Cheese in Puff Pastry - paired with Seyval Blanc
Second: Arugula, Shrimp and Bacon Salad with Cherry Tomatoes and Balsamic Vinaigrette - paired with Pinot Gris
Third: Mushroom and Bacon Pork Roulade served with a Light Mushroom Cream Sauce, Haricot Verts - Paired with Gruner Veltliner
Fourth: Bread Pudding with Apple and Brown Sugared Bacon - Paired with Semi-Sweet Riesling
