Our Wine Wednesday this week brings you some of Napa Valley’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon. We’ll start with a 2017 North Coast Cab from Rudy. The reason we’re doing this is the winery was sold and we don’t know what the future will bring us so here’s to Rudy Von Strasser and all the great wines they have produced in Napa Valley. Next up is the 2016 Smith-Madrone cab from the Spring Mountain District of Napa. The rich yet rocky volcanic soils coupled with the cooler nights of the area bring us this fine wine, a rich, balanced and smooth Cab. Next up is the 2017 Elyse Cab from Holbrook-Mitchell Vineyards just up the roars from the winery.we fell in love with this wine of the 2014 vintage and the 2017 is evolving into another great one, maybe a better wine with a little time. Last is our newest addition to our collection of fine Napa Cabs, the 2017 Goosecross from their State Lane Vineyard. This one is just wow! So rich and flavorful, well balanced and certainly well made.
We will aerate all of your tastes to open them up and bring out the richness present in all 4 wines. Enjoy Napa Valley’s finest! At least a few. Cheers!
