South American wines are becoming more and more popular every year. You can get a wide range of varieties of wine from South America, from classic Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to more exotic Petit Verdot, Tannat and Torrontes. Many people think that winemaking has only been going on in South America in the past 100 years, but grapes were first introduced to the continent in the 15th century with wine being made from this time too.
Explore Chile, one of South America’s most significant wine producers, and possessing a vast range of wine styles grown in a surprising range of terroir for such a small country.
