ABOUT THE WHITE TIE PICNIC
Celebrated around the world on August 9th, International Coworking Day is a salute to the ways in which the world of work is changing–for the better. Across the Greater Kitsap region and throughout the world, coworking spaces are helping people work happier, healthier and more connected than ever before.
The pandemic been a powerful reminder that: A) we truly are better together and B) real, authentic community matters.
With six coworking spaces located across the West Sound region, the White Tie Picnic In The Park provides an opportunity for the entire Kitsap community to come together in person to celebrate all the ways that the flexible work community enriches our lives.

HOW DOES IT WORK
Guests are invited to come dressed head-to-toe in white and bring a picnic to enjoy together at Centennial Park
Blankets will be provided. Guests are responsible for bringing all other picnic accessories, food, and blanket decor.
Prizes will be awarded for best picnic blanket decor, best dressed, and more - have fun, and get creative!
Tickets are required; all ages are welcome.

WEAR WHITE
We’re talking head-to-toe! Skip “pop” colors. Stick to all white! Ideas: white hats, white jackets, white wigs, white tie or bow tie, white sneakers… Originality is encouraged, as long as it stays stylish and tasteful.
BRING ALL NECESSARY SUPPLIES FOR YOUR DINNER
I.e. food, plates, silverware, glasses / water bottles, low-sitting lawn chairs (or skip chairs and sit on your blanket!), fun (all-white!) decorations (think florals, battery-operated candles,
WEAR WHITE, BUT THINK GREEN
Join us in our endeavor to make this a Zero Waste event. Please bring only reusable dinner supplies, decor, costume pieces, etc.
CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF
Clean up after yourself, and take all recyclables and landfill items to the designated Trashy Taskforce stations
NO ALCOHOL!
Much as we’d like to have designated space for adult beverages, the liquor laws are not on our side this time around. This will be a dry event.
