ABOUT FLIPPED NARRATIVE

Flipped Narrative is a small batch Black Woman-owned winery. After two years of planning, Flipped Narrative officially launched August 2021. They specialize in fine wine from Sonoma, California. Their current collection consists of:

• 2020 Sauvignon Blanc
• 2020 Rosé
• 2020 Pinot Noir

Each varietal was crafted with you in mind, and Flipped Narrative wanted to create a collection for everyone to love.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER | Dominque McLeod

In 2018, Dominque was a young professional chasing her dreams as a Probation Officer without plans of entering the wine industry until retirement. However, after several months of soul searching she decided to bring her future aspirations to fruition.

Dominque did not want to wait until she was 55 years old to launch Flipped Narrative, she wanted to do it before she was 30 years old. After leaving her job as a Probation Officer, Dominque began her journey in the wine industry.

Dominque successful launched Flipped Narrative at 28 years old, almost 30 years before her original plan.

This is what Flipped Narrative is all about... Dominque did not love her story; so she flipped it.

Flipped narrative represents those who want to do more and do better for themselves. It represents a sign of taking action and not settling for the status quo.

That’s why we always say, "You have the power to flip your narrative!"

The best address for your GPS is 2020 Crystal Drive, Arlington, VA which will guide you to the public parking garage. The garage entrance is located between Highline RxR (restaurant) and CapitalOne Bank on Crystal Drive.

Parking in this garage is free for up to one hour. **Please avoid parking spaces that say RESERVED or No Parking, or have cones in them.
