VENTANAS Restaurant & Lounge will celebrate the fall wine harvest season with a special wine dinner featuring spectacular wines from the highly awarded Duckhorn Vineyards paired with a special menu created by Chef David Burke, culinary director for sister restaurants VENTANAS and Son Cubano. The five-course wine dinner will be held Tuesday, September 21 from 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $130 per person plus tax and gratuity. The restaurant has already achieved the coveted nationally recognized Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

 

Duckhorn Vineyards has spent four decades establishing itself as one of North America's premier producers of Bordeaux varietal wines. Through the years Duckhorn has accumulated numerous awards for its wines from its seven estate vineyards. Renée Ary, the fourth winemaker of Duckhorn Vineyards, is recognized for making some of the finest wines in the history of Duckhorn Vineyards. Ary strives to understand the needs and opportunities presented by each specific terroir and microclimate.

 

So, come to celebrate these fine, award-winning, varietal wines in the stylish surroundings of VENTANAS’s Red Room, hosted by Chef David Burke and Duckhorn’s expert Dani O’Brien. O’Brien will lead the tastings as she discusses the vineyard’s terroir, the growing season’s weather conditions, microclimates and a winemaker’s style that together impact a wine’s subtle characters.
