On Fridays in September, we're pairing our fine Texas crafted wines with delicious Tuscan grilled steak or chicken. Each week we will feature a different local chef who will prepare steak or chicken and additional sides.
Friday, Sept. 8, Chef Michael Mantilla with Rustic Plate kicks off our series with boneless chicken thighs, seared in the Tuscan grill, with a grape, tomato and garlic cream sauce. The plate includes rustic butter mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies, as well as a green salad topped with cranberries, diced apples, shaved almonds and feta cheese with a balsalmic vinaigrette.
