This Week’s Featured Wines: Crisp and Supple Summer Whites
This week, we will offer three white wines ideal for the warmer weather.
First, for those who prefer just sipping a nice wine on the deck--perhaps with some fresh fruit--we suggest a Picpoul de Pinet. For those of you who may prefer wines that can complement summer fare, we offer two wines featuring Sauvignon Blanc: one from France and one from Washington State. Both of these wines have a certain richness which helps them complement most summer meals, while also being pretty tasty just for sipping after a hard day. While the Delille is more expensive, it is a gorgeous wine (one of my favorites in the category). Stop in and check one or more out!
