This Week’s Featured Wines at Water Tower Fine Wines: Big Boys of the Rhone--Grenache VS. Syrah
This week, we will try something entirely different. We will sample two wines from Betz from the state of Washington.
Each of these wines is made using one of the two primary grapes found in the Rhone region of France. One features grenache, the main grape found in southern reds blends and the other produced from syrah, the only red grape allowed in the north. Both of these wines are 2008 vintage, and both are closeouts (so discounted over 10%).
They will be available in the wine station starting Thursday and for purchase all week. Stop in and see what you think!
