Buried Treasure – rediscovering Chenin Blanc and the great white wines of the Loire Valley.
Alongside Chardonnay and Riesling, Chenin Blanc is the third and only other white grape historically credited with producing truly great white wine. Cameron Mills conducts this seminar, a tour of Anjou in the Loire and the wines of Domain Belargus whose 100% commitment to Chenin Blanc from single sites and grand cru vineyards is reigniting interest in the nearly forgotten wines of the Anjou hills. From riveting dry whites to luscious, golden, long-aging dessert wines, this will be a special event for lovers of great white wine.
