We are thrilled to host an evening tasting featuring world-renowned Italian wine house Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia, in honor of the release of the 2019 Sassicaia vintage.
This incredible vintage was rated 99 points by Wine Enthusiast, and 100 points by Decanter, calling it “extremely graceful and intense with a lavender note enhanced by restrained bramble fruits, fermented citrus peel, an intense violet aroma and graphite minerality in depth… A perfectly woven structure is bound with signature freshness and fruit vibrancy, making this one for the long haul.”
Tenuta San Guido co-owner and family member Priscilla Incisa della Rocchetta will present this much-anticipated release, as well as the new releases of two more exciting bottlings: 2019 Guidalberto and 2019 Le Difese.
Sassicaia emerged on the Tuscan wine scene in 1968 and sparked a revolution in Italian wine that continues today. This tasting offers a rare opportunity to sample five fantastic bottlings from the famed producer:
