If you’ve drunk Mark Porembski’s Zeitgeist wines, you know he and his wife/partner Jennifer Williams make terrific Cabernet Sauvignon. And if you come by the shop on Tuesday, April 14 and meet and taste with him, you’ll soon know that he’s a lot of fun. And makes Cabernet Franc that’s just as impressive as his Cab Sauvignon!

Zeitgeist winemaker/owners Jenifer Williams and Mark Porembski craft some of Napa’s most exciting Cabernets year-in and year-out. As Wine Advocate said a few years ago, “Mark Porembski and Jennifer Williams are Zeitgeist, a husband-and-wife winemaking team sourcing fruit from some terrific vineyards, including the likes of Oakville Station and Sleeping Lady, among others….the wines come across as nicely balanced, not too oaky, not too tannic, but concentrated, rich and remarkably seductive.”

While Zeitgeist production remains tiny, the prices have never touched the silly levels most “cult-Cabernet” houses ask. Both for the great value Napa Cabernet Sauvignon and the even more grand single vineyard bottlings. Which you’ll taste for yourself as Mark shares:

If you can, please RSVP for one of the three tasting slots so we can steer others to the sessions that will be less crowded. Mark will start each session close to the scheduled time and then take time to chat with you and sign bottles as requested. If you miss the beginning of one session, don’t worry – we’ll catch you up after it’s done and before the next slot begins.
