The Blind Goat is celebrating 2 years in Spring Branch, and we’re doing it in style! We’re bringing back a bunch of our most popular dishes from the past, all the way since our inception in 2019 when we were just a 400-sqft station in a food hall. On the menu will be dishes like rice noodle rolls with steak (or phở cuốn), sugarcane shrimp skewers (chạo tôm), seared scallops, shaking beef (bò lúc lắc), papaya salad, bánh mì board, G.O.A.T. Curry, and more.
To make it extra festive, we will be serving everything Kamayan-style. “Kamayan” refers to the Filipino tradition of communal feasting where a bounty of food is spread down the middle of the table on banana leaves, and everyone gathers at the table to eat together. Our very first service at The Blind Goat in Spring Branch was a Kamayan dinner before we’d even officially opened our doors, so we thought it was fitting to bring this style of celebratory feasting back for our 2-year anniversary.
So come, feast, be merry, and toast to The Blind Goat’s 2nd birthday with Chef Christine and her team!
