Taste of Black Spirits has partnered with Sista Supply Chain Network to host the event - Spirited Women in Supply Chain. This special gathering will take place on June 20th in Brooklyn, from 5 PM to 9 PM Eastern, bringing together influential women leaders and aspiring professionals for a night of insight, networking, and celebration.

Giselle joined The Spearhead Group in 2020 to lead logistics in their valiant effort to pivot and source PPE’s destined to go in the hands of essential employees. Since then, Giselle has been working as Sr. Logistics Manager to help Spearhead’s clients with inventory, shipping, and logistics success. Now that Spearhead has successfully transitioned from pandemic logistics into the next chapter of sailing through uncharted waters, Giselle stays hyper focused on helping the team “spearhead” their sustainability goals in new directions. Giselle has over 20 years of Logistics and Supply Chain experience. This journey began with an undecided but determined college student working the twilight shift at UPS, to one who now manages worldwide imports and exports of North America at The Spearhead Group. Johnson & Johnson, Bed Bath & Beyond, Inter Parfums, and Church & Dwight are among the journeys in between which fine-tuned Giselle's passion for transportation, inventory management, compliance, procurement, and supply chain visibility. Giselle is a Bachelor of Science in Economics grad from St. Peter's University, and a certified Full Stack Web Dev at Rutgers University.

Vanessa Braxton: Pioneering Paths and Pouring Legacy From managing multi-million dollar engineering contracts to becoming the first African-American woman Master Distiller and Distillery Owner in the United States, Vanessa Braxton's journey is a testament to breaking barriers and building legacies. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Vanessa's illustrious career transitioned from the corridors of corporate and government sectors to the pioneering forefront of the spirits and beverage industry. Her remarkable trajectory includes mentoring entrepreneurs, expanding economic empowerment through strategic initiatives, and owning the only Black-owned tea and beverage manufacturing facility in the country.

Tracie Franklin (Distilling and Manufacturing) Tracie Franklin is a seasoned professional in the spirits industry, with a specialized focus on supply chain management and distillation. Her extensive background includes significant roles in education, brand storytelling, and strategic development, making her a key influencer in the field. Currently, Tracie leads projects at Pronghorn, where she spearheads initiatives to enhance diversity within the spirits industry. Her work involves strategizing and implementing solutions that create equitable opportunities for underrepresented communities, aiming to reshape the landscape of the industry. As a founder of Get Spirited Consulting LLC, Tracie combines her deep knowledge of distillation with her skills in event management and marketing strategy. She provides comprehensive consulting services that cover spirits education, cocktail creation, and the intricacies of supply chain management. Her consultancy is renowned for helping clients optimize their operations from production to market, ensuring quality control, and navigating industry trends effectively. Tracie’s educational contributions are highlighted by her role as a Whiskey and Distillation Educator with the Beverage Alcohol Resource. Here, she educates aspiring distillers and industry professionals on the fine points of spirit production and distillation processes. Her tenure with the Nearest and Jack Advancement Initiative as part of their Leadership Acceleration Program further underscores her expertise, where she focused on developing the next generation of master distillers and blenders. Through her varied roles and consistent focus on the supply side of the spirits industry, Tracie Franklin has demonstrated a profound commitment to enhancing the technical, educational, and ethical standards of distillation and supply chain management in the spirits sector.

Lindsey Ebeling (Marketing): Lindsey Ebeling is a marketing executive distinguished by her profound impact on the spirits industry. As the newly appointed General Manager of Tequila at Moët Hennessy, Lindsey brings her deep passion for tequila and agave spirits to the forefront, overseeing the expansion and development of the luxury tequila portfolio in partnership with teams in Mexico and the legendary Gallardo family. With a solid foundation in culture and commercial strategy, she has proven herself as a visionary leader, particularly in her role as Global Director of Marketing at Beam Suntory. There, she led Jim Beam Innovation, adeptly blending compelling brand stories with dynamic marketing platforms that resonated deeply with consumers and energized retailers alike. Her work revolutionizing the ready-to-drink (RTD) and ready-to-serve (RTS) sectors across various countries highlights her innovative approach and strategic acumen. Lindsey's career is marked by significant transformations at Global Fortune 500 companies, supported by an extensive background in sales. This rich tapestry of experience furnishes her with a unique perspective that she leverages to drive growth and spearhead successful global product launches. Recently, Lindsey has embarked on a new and exciting chapter in her career as the General Manager of Tequila at Moët Hennessy. In this role, she is thrilled to lead the expansion and development of the luxury tequila portfolio in partnership with the team in Mexico and the legendary Gallardo family. Upon completing her MBA in Business Leadership, Ursula Dunn began her Supply Chain career with Diageo the global leader in the spirits industry. Throughout her decade plus career with the organization, she has been responsible for leading and implementing World Class Processes and Initiatives that drive Productivity and Cost Savings. As a champion of continuous improvement, she has driven over 10 million dollars in margin enhancing opportunities. She is also one of the organization’s leaders of Inclusion and Diversity initiatives through her work with Diageo’s Business Resource Groups like AHEAD (African Heritage Employees at Diageo), Rainbow Network, Connectados and the Spirited Women Network. She contributed to establishing Diageo’s I&D Framework in 2021 including a secondment role building the Supply Chain framework for Pronghorn an accelerator and incubator for Black Owned Spirits Brands. Before embarking in Spirits Ursula held a variety of roles that provided a wide breadth of tools and skillsets including Accounting, Customer Service and Logistics. Leveraging her passion for D&I, subject matter expertise and entrepreneurial spirit Ursula is embarking on a mission to support and accelerate the career and entrepreneurial endeavors of women in supply through her community platform Sista Supply Chain Network.
