In 2022, the Snohomish & Island County Labor Council created the Mike Sells Labor Champion Award to honor retired Washington State Representative Mike Sells (D-LD 38). The award is given annually to a deserving recipient who has championed the cause of labor and public service. This individual or entity advocates for working families and makes a positive impact in their community through leadership and service.

NEW, two additional awards have been added: Delegate Champion Award and Affiliate Champion Award. We want to continue to uplift our union siblings and honor those who have made it their mission to advocate, educate, and support our local communities.

NEW, our silent auction. In the spirit of giving, the funds raised will go towards our Labor Council’s Hardship Fund. These funds have been a lifeline to many of our labor families in support of their financial needs.

The dinner is well attended by union members, elected officials, community representatives, and charitable and educational groups.

• Happy hour and registration is from 5-6 p.m.
• Buffet dinner starts at 6 p.m. (honey garlic chicken or northwest steelhead salmon)
• Program starts at 6:30 p.m.
• Attorney General will speak from 6:45 -7:05 p.m.
• Adjourn between 8-8:30 p.m.
