This is an intimate, small-gathering event for those who love travel, Christmas, and Rick Steves. We are watching the PBS Show's famous episode, "Rick Steve's European Christmas". We will be stopping between the countries that Rick visits, and bringing out differrent courses shown directly in the show. The show discusses a lot of the religious components behind the Christmas traditions.

Welcome Snack: Scandinavian Saffron Buns brought to you in a Santa Lucia procession with Norwegian Juleøl

Course 1: France - Oyster & Foie Gras with Champagne (classic Parisian Christmas meal)

Course 2: Swiss / Austrian Alps - Fondue with an Austrian Kirsch Drink

Course 3: Italy - "La Vigilia" Fish and Vegetable course (To be specified) & Italian White Wine typical to this feast

Course 4: France (Burgundy) - Beef en Croûte with Truffles, a cousin of a Beef Wellington. Served with a Burgundy Red Wine.

Course 5: Dessert finishing with Roquefort Blue Cheese, hearty cheese (France), and traditional Gingerbread Cookie (Germany), and a bowl of Rice Pudding (one of which has the hidden almond). Served with German Gluhwein (mulled wine).

We may just finish with a group Christmas Carol Sing-a-long!
