Sitting atop Howell Mountain, CADE Estate has earned a reputation for state-of-the-art winemaking, its exceptional architecture and a fierce dedication to the environment and organic farming. When CADE opened its doors in 2009, it became Napa Valley’s first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certified winery. Today, CADE has come to exemplify sustainably produced wines of exceptional quality, approachability, and grace.
Founded in 2012, Odette Estate was built on a historic Stag’s Leap vineyard and established a new benchmark in sustainable winemaking. The small, cutting-edge winery building is one of just a handful of wineries to feature a living green roof, in addition to its 2,500 square feet of solar panels. The estate is Napa Valley’s second Gold LEED certified winery. Odette is synonymous with awarding-winning Cabernet Sauvignons that showcase the unique properties of the AVA.
Originally poised for a career in Landscape Architecture, winemaker Jeff Owens quickly rose up the ranks, and from its inaugural release, Odette’s wines have been celebrated by critics and consumers alike. His second label, Adaptation, has been a staple for over a decade. It depicts the range of terroirs in Napa Valley—from the mountainous terrain of Howell Mountain to the valley floor in Oak Knoll, the Stags Leap District, and Carneros.
