The Pisoni family's legacy of farming runs deep in their veins. It all began in 1952 when Jane and Eddie Pisoni started farming in the Salinas Valley, instilling a tradition of care and pride that continues to this day. Their son Gary, along with his children, Jeff and Mark, have upheld this legacy with a feeling of profound connection to the land.
Gary's bold venture into mountain grape growing, despite initial skepticism, quickly established the Pisoni Estate and Lucia labels as benchmarks of exceptional wine. Today, under the adept leadership of Jeff and Mark, they produce elegant, classically made pinot noir, chardonnay, and syrah across 40 acres in three vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands. These wines, reflect their dedication and passion, and are their pride and joy.
