On Tuesday, May 24 Phoenix City Grille Presents a four course Jack Daniel’s Whiskey Pairing Dinner featuring emcee Master Distiller Chris Fletcher. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with the Silent Seven welcome cocktail featuring Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7, Potter’s triple sec, fresh lemon juice, agave and local citrus twist.
Menu includes the following courses curated by Executive Chef Micah Wyzlic; each dish will be paired with a different Jack Daniel’s whiskey:
First Course — Organic Arugula, aged prosciutto, hazelnuts, pickled asparagus, sun kissed Calimyrna figs, local Hassayampa Asiago, confit heirloom cherry tomato and fennel pollen 7 Meyer lemon basil vinaigrette featuring Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select
Second Course — Corey’s 7-day Cured Pork Belly, Oaxacan sweet mash puree, rhubarb-Bing cherry compote, toasted almonds and tart apple chip featuring Jack Daniel’s Triple Mash Blended Straight Whiskey
Third Course — Smoke Argentine rib-eye roll with sweet corn pudding, Guajillo demi-glace, Rhiba Farms local roasted mushroom and piquillo relish and chive oil featuring Jack Daniel’s Bonded Tennessee Whiskey
Fourth Course — Bananas Foster Crème Brulee with peanut caramel, candied pistachios, chocolate-dipped banana chip and raspberries featuring Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Rye
Cost is $150 per person plus tax and 20 percent gratuity; attendees will also receive a bottle of the soon-to-be released Bonded Whiskey signed by Fletcher.
