About the Event

Join us for Perfect Pairings, a bi-monthly culinary series at the Nashua outlet that brings together chef-prepared bites with curated wine pairings. Designed to inspire, educate, and delight, each event is a place to discover and savor the art of food and drink.

This June, Chef Ed Aloise returns with a stunning three-course menu inspired by the season, starting with a bright spring salad of asparagus, English peas, and feta, moving into a rustic Tuscan bruschetta built on bottle-braised Maine-grown yellow eye beans and pickled wild ramps, and finishing with a delicate Roman crepe filled with ramp pesto, house-made ricotta, and charred tomato sauce. Each course is thoughtfully paired with Santa Julia's vibrant lineup, from the crisp and fruit-forward Chimango Rosé to the bold, expressive Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Chef Ed Aloise has owned and operated four highly successful restaurant concepts. Ed and his wife, Claudia, opened New Hampshire's first certified farm-to-table restaurant, Republic Café in Manchester, in 2010. In 2012, they were James Beard National Semi-Finalists for Best Restaurateurs. Since leaving the day-to-day operations of his restaurants, Ed has established a hospitality consulting company, has been a sought-after guest chef, and recently published his first book of fiction short stories.
