We’re kicking off the holiday 2022 tasting season with a bang this week with six wines open to sample ranging from “drink me now” party/holiday dinner selections to highly giftable Patricia Green Pinot Noirs. Join us Friday from 3-7pm and Saturday from noon-4pm to sample:

Netzl Rose of Zweigelt Rosanna 2021 – Just because the weather’s turned a bit cool doesn’t mean it’s time to give up on rosé! Especially this nicely robust but dry Zweigelt pink that’s as delicious with food as it is solo sipping on its own.

Dom des Malandes Chablis Village 2021 – There’s not much Chablis available from the frost-impacted 2021 vintage, but this wine proves that what there is can be really, really, good! Nicely crisp and mineral, this is great seafood white Burgundy with enough charm for cocktail sipping, too.

Patricia Green Pinot Noir Marine Sedimentary 2021 – Easily the most delicious edition of this blend of barrels from 8 different sites, all rich in the Willamette Valley’s signature marine sedimentary soils. The combination of dark fruit and zippy freshness is irresistible already.

Patricia Green Pinot Noir Estate 2021 – One of the most open and accessible of Jim Anderson’s new releases, this is already delightful for its deep red fruit and cola complexity and will keep on improving for a decade-plus.

Patricia Green Pinot Noir Estate Old Vine 2021 – Same site as the Estate bottling, but from vines 25-38 years-old. This is intense and probably not ready to drink yet, but there’s so much going on and the tannins are so polished that you may struggle to leave it alone.

Abram’s Bridge Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2020 – We can’t tell you exactly which wineries provided the grapes and juice that Neil Koch used to craft this delicious Napa Cab, but sites like Rutherford, Pritchard Hill and Howell Mountain are involved. All from names you’d recognize for wines that sell for 2-3x this stunning value.

As always, we’ll have some treats from the cheese case out to sample with the wines and best six/12 bottle discounts available on a mix/match basis during the tasting. Come join us!
