An in-person blind tasting - as much fun as you can have building your palate!
Take Your Blind Tasting Powers to the Next Level!

A 18-wine flight (1.5-2-oz pours; in total, about 1-bottle per person!) We taste three wines at-a-time, blind! We tell you what the wines are, what they smell/taste like, but we don’t tell you which glass they’re in! Deductive tasting is a great way to learn about wine and you work to guess the right answers! To take the class up a notch; we ask timely trivia questions and engage other competitive elements. This class helps develop tasting skills to help identify wines. It's action packed, fun, and it's delicious!!! Build your palate, reinforce and expand what you know, or learn it for the first time!

ABOUT IAN BLACKBURNIan discovered the wine industry at the ripe age of 21 while working for famous Chefs such as Thomas Keller and Joachim Splichal in Los Angeles’ top dining rooms. The discovery of wine and the massive need for wine knowledge quickly engulfed Ian’s life and his passion redirected his career from Restaurants and Hotels to Vineyards and Education. Soon enough in 1995, LearnAboutWine.com was born, becoming the first website dedicated to wine education. With over 25-years of experience traveling the wine world, Ian is a published author (Wiley Publications, 2002), has 10 vintages of top level winemaking on his resume at Beekeeper Cellars and is considered one of the region's best wine educators. Ian’s push to evolve and his ability to pivot has produced a strata of new concepts such as, ZoomIntoWine.com (virtual education), Merchantofwine.com (the family’s online wine store), and now the return of in-person gatherings with LearnAboutWine.com - using all the great gathering spots in LA as potential venues. | merchantofwine.com | learnaboutwine.com | beekeepercellars.com
